Featuring Little Nobody, Sebastian Bayne, Biz and Koda - more info soon.
Saturday 13 Aug. 2011 MELBOURNE
Andrez Bergen, a.k.a. wayward expat Melbourne electronic musician Little Nobody, will be down from Tokyo (his home for the past 10 years) and back in Melbs for a week or so in August - ostensibly to launch his novel 'Tobacco-Stained Mountain Goat' (on Wed. Aug. 10th) plus spend some time with friends and family.
But he's also a hack DJ/producer of electronic tunes, and over the past year has worked with James Ruskin, Blake Baxter, AUX 88, Si Begg, Dave Tarrida, Bas Mooy, Inigo Kennedy, Luke's Anger, K. Alexi Shelby, Alan Oldham, Justin Robertson, Steve Stoll, Dave Angel, Justin Berkovi, Ade Fenton, Cristian Vogel, Patrick Pulsinger, etc, etc. - meaning he has a LOT of cool tunes to spin.
Therefore he's sticking on some of these sounds on Saturday 13 August at Sentido Funf (http://www.sentidofunf.com.au/whatthefunf.html) in Fitzroy, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm - to be followed by way cool resident Andre Le Vogue through to the wee hour(s).
He'll also be launching the new Little Nobody EP through local label Finn Audio - the original 'Troll' recently appeared on 12" vinyl (via German label Slidebar) alongside Cristian Vogel and Tobias Schmidt, and the Finn Audio version features remixes by Russian techno wunderkind Vadz and British iconoclast JE:5.
Actually, I'm going to stop talking about myself in the third person here - it just comes across as pretentiously silly. Even more important, I hear that Sentido Funf has great tucker... so come early for din-dins. ;)
